We arrived by sailboat to Panamá in July and stayed with "Starlight" in Shelter Bay Marina. The marina is inside of an old American military area, Fort Sherman. This military base was used by the US ARMY for jungle training from 1953 to 1999. Also inside the military area there is San Lorenzo National Park. This Park is an important biological corridor between the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean.
Bahamas is visited every year by many turists who looking for beatiful beaches and wondeful marine life. We found some of those beautiful waters and beaches but the marine seabed was very stresed and we saw also many destroyed corals and contamination.
Few months in Daytona Beach getting Starlight ready for sailing to New Zealand. Daytona Beach is one of the most important places for car racing but not for reparing boats!
